It has been a long time, almost since Telecinco established its new Code of Ethics and prohibited leaving the sets during a live show, that someone was not as shocked as the architect Joaquín Torres was this morning in Espejo Público.
Susanna Griso's program has probably had one of the most tense moments in its entire history when the architect, collaborator of the Espejo Público social chronicle table, has shown his embarrassment at the information broadcast the previous day in the program in which It was claimed that the architect supposedly bought followers on his social networks like Carmen Lomana, Gloria Camila or Kiko Rivera.
The architect, who was not on set this Wednesday, did not want to leave the opportunity to defend himself and show his indignation at information that he claims "is absolutely false." During the program, Joaquín Torres stated that giving that type of news "is like a laugh, it's making fun of the viewer and us." He claimed that they had played with his professional profile, that he is an architect and that they had beaten him: "I dedicate myself to architecture. It fills everyone's mouths saying that politics has been filled with political professionals, because in Television has been filled with characters who have no other job or benefit than to dedicate themselves to talking about others. And suddenly a professional who is unrelated to all this comes and is beaten up. To the point that I am harmed. When I leave here I am architect and I am compared to profiles that affect me. But what is this?"
The now former collaborator continued increasingly upset and nervous: "Video I make, 60 comments. Compare and see who has a profile like that. But doing this show with me like this... This is abusive. And I'm the one who has to take measures".
Joaquín Torres then got up from the couch and it was Susanna Griso who, given the tension that had settled on the set, invited him to leave: "Well, Joaquín, if you feel more comfortable and want to leave...". The architect replied "of course, but forever." Joaquín Torres was then leaving the set.
"It hurts me that you say this but I leave the door open," said Susanna Griso. Then, the collaborator returned to the sets asking the presenter what was hurting her: "I have protected you, I have left you out of this."
Susanna Griso then pointed out that she didn't hurt because of her, but because of how she had affected him. The presenter then apologized on his behalf and on behalf of the program, but Joaquín Torres was too angry to see reason: "I accept them, but I don't want to continue on the program."

However, a few hours after the tense live moment, Joaquín Torres has continued his criticism of the program in a harsh publication on his social networks in which he states that "they seek spectacle at the expense of everything and everyone."
"I am leaving Espejo Público for giving false information about my Instagram profile. I am leaving because I no longer trust its management and do not trust the veracity of what is said and done," the architect's letter begins. "Contrary to the opinion of many people who love me, I eagerly agreed to collaborate on that program, because I am a big fan of Susanna Griso and, in addition, I really wanted to help compete against Telecinco's morning, because being the producer of Ana Rosa Quintana and being a person who would have helped Villarejo try to "destroy" me in the media and personally after Susana García Cereceda's assignment, since I was especially "excited" to contribute my grain of sand in the new approach of Espejo Público," adds the architect.
"But if the new direction of the direction of Alberto Díaz - former director of Sálvame and director of the social table of Espejo Público - is to reproduce the direction of his old program and create spectacle through the conflict of his collaborators, it will be that Not with me," he says.
