Hostage-taking in Walldürn: Police identify fourth victim of serial rapist

In the case of a hostage-taking in Walldürn, there is now a fourth possible victim. A self-appointed psycho coach is said to have raped her and three other women in his home - with the help of his younger brother.

The group of women allegedly held by a self-appointed psychocoach in Walldürn, Baden-Württemberg, has expanded. A spokesman for the Mosbach public prosecutor's office said four victims were currently believed to be between the ages of 22 and 26. At first, investigators thought they were dealing with three cases.

Officials found the fourth victim at the home during the women's liberation on the night of October 19, 2022. However, she was not initially considered a victim. This assessment has now changed, said the spokesman for the authorities. The 37-year-old has so far not commented on the allegations of hostage-taking in connection with particularly serious rape and dangerous bodily harm in several cases.

The man who boasted about his life experiences and wisdom online is in a psychiatric hospital. His 23-year-old brother is also in custody as a suspected helper. According to the Mosbach public prosecutor's office, the investigation will not be completed before April.

Among other things, the accused is said to have held and raped a woman for several days. The 26-year-old finally called an acquaintance who alerted the police. According to earlier media reports, the accused has made contact with people on the Internet whose vulnerability has been exploited sexually and financially and who have formed a sect-like group around them.
