Anne Heche: Alec Baldwin prays for his colleague

After Anne Heche's (53) serious car accident in Los Angeles, her colleague Alec Baldwin (64) spoke in an emotional Instagram video. In it he describes Heche as a "good, old friend of mine". He sends his best wishes and all his love. "There aren't many women I've worked with who are as brave as Anne is," says Baldwin.

She is an amazingly talented woman: "I love you Anne, I love you and I think you are such a talented person." He very much hopes that she will survive everything, his heart beats for her. "I'm sorry this tragic thing happened to you," Baldwin said in direct words to his former screen and theater partner.

Baldwin and Heche first appeared together in the 1996 legal thriller Not Guilty. The two also worked together on the Broadway musical "On the Twentieth Century". In 2005, Heche was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the play.

Heche crashed her Mini Cooper into a house at high speed on Friday (5 August). Both the car and the house caught fire. A spokesman for the US actress later confirmed to People magazine that Heche was in a hospital in "stable condition". One should pray for them. US media reports that the actress suffered severe burns and had to be intubated.

Numerous colleagues have already spoken out on social networks. Her ex-boyfriend, actor James Tupper (57), also wrote about a picture of his son's mother on Instagram: "Memorial and prayers for this beautiful woman, actress and mother. We love you." Peter Facinelli (48), her colleague from "13 Minutes – Every Second Counts" and "The Vanished", wrote in an Instagram story: "I pray for you and your wonderful family."

Her ex-partner and colleague from the HBO series "Hung", Thomas Jane (53), told the "Daily Mail" in a statement that his "thoughts and prayers" are with Heche and described her as "one of the real talents their generation". Actress Rosanna Arquette (62) also asked for prayers for Anne via Twitter and added: "It's really tragic."
