Who would have thought that artist Harry Styles would be one of Barack Obama's favorite hits of the year? As every year, the 60-year-old shared his musical and literary favorites with his followers. Then on Tuesday it was time.

The former US President presented a musical mix of the hottest newest hits and real evergreens. Among other things, the Obamas are rocking the summer months of 2022 with songs like "Break My Soul" by Beyoncé, "Music For A Sushi Restaurant" by Harry Styles, "Saoko" by Rosalia and "Die Hard" by Kendrick Lamar. The Obama DJ list also includes classics like Prince's 'Let's Go Crazy', Otis Redding's 'I've Been Loving You' and Aretha Franklin's 'Save Me'.

He captioned his post, "I look forward to sharing my summer playlist every year because I get to know so many new artists through your messages - it's an example of how music can really bring us all together. Here it is what I heard this summer. What songs would you add?" and gets even more musical inspiration from his fans with the open question.

His summer reading tips also have more interesting books that reflect his passions, interests and assets. Such as the book "The Great Experiment: Why Diverse Democracies Fall Apart and How They Can Endure" by Yascha Mounk or "A Little Devil in America: Notes in Praise of Black Performance" by author Hanif Abdurraqib.
