Result? Body oils are excellent for use against dry skin. While all other products are in the green and only have minor defects in exceptional cases, the "Fenjal Intensive Body Oil" rushes through the test with "unsatisfactory". Not only that only the supplier Fit still uses the petroleum-based paraffinum liquidum as the main ingredient. The laboratory also found increased amounts of aromatic mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOAH) from the testers' point of view. Carcinogenic compounds can also be found among the MOAH.
According to Öko-Test, the basis for a good care oil is always a cold-pressed vegetable oil. Most manufacturers use sunflower, jojoba or almond oil, but olive oil, soybean oil and avocado oil are also popular carrier oils. The fewer ingredients the finished recipe contains, the better. You should stay away from petroleum-based body oils.
