Private detective Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) becomes the victim of a burglary. Worse than the shock of the crime is that the money he had hard saved for his cruise with Anna Springer (Rita Russek) was stolen. But Wilsberg falls on deaf ears at the burglary department. Things are not going well for detective superintendent Overbeck (Roland Jankowsky) either. He accidentally witnesses an attack and intervenes.

The mammoths Manni and Elli are expecting their first baby. And while the two of them are all about the offspring, sloth Sid feels left out and wants to start his own family. As if that weren't enough, the remaining dinosaurs track down Sid and take him to an underground world populated by gigantic dinosaurs.

Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg) doesn't trust many people, because often you're closest to yourself. After a successful gold robbery in Venice worth millions, however, master thief Croker experiences a bitter disappointment: someone from his own ranks takes off with the golden loot. The hunt for the traitor and his valuable luggage, which now begins, leads Croker's gang to Los Angeles, where they cause the most spectacular traffic jam in the city's history.

Even at the police station, where the conscientious patrol officer Ida Sörensen (Marlene Morreis) helps out on the night shift, chaos reigns. At this moment nobody thinks of a sadistic serial killer who kidnaps people and lets them starve in the forest. Ida also doesn't recognize Smillla Vestergaad (Anne Kanis), who has been missing for days, was able to free herself from her bonds and now appears among all the disguised and drunk people in the police station.
