Stromae cancels all its concerts until the end of May for health reasons

"I have to take the time to recover to resume, when I can, the rest of the concerts. The Belgian singer Stromae, currently on tour, announced on Tuesday April 4 the cancellation of all his concerts until the end of May for health reasons.

"I have to resign myself to the fact that my health unfortunately does not allow me to continue coming to meet you at this time," he wrote to his fans in a statement shared on social media, expressing his "deep sadness". Stromae had already canceled six concert dates in the past two weeks.

The 38-year-old from Brussels, very popular in France, is currently on a European tour to promote his album Multitude, released a year ago. He was back on stage in the summer of 2022 after a long period of absence caused by a burn-out when he had chained the concerts for the album of his consecration, Square Root, released in 2013.

He shone in February at the Victoires de la Musique awards, where he won the title of best album and that of male artist of the year.
