TV show: Big reunion at the Bachelorette: Is Sharon still with her "last rose"?

It was a roller coaster of emotions for Bachelorette Sharon Batisste until the end. She was torn between the last two candidates. Ultimately, in the finale, Sharon sent Lukas home in tears and chose the florist Jan. In the "Big Reunion" of season nine, the viewers found out whether Sharon and Jan are still a couple.

But anyone who thought that moderator Sophia Thomalla would ask the crucial question right at the beginning was unfortunately disappointed. Before that, Thomalla grilled the candidates. Thomalla wanted to know from Max, who had voluntarily left the show prematurely because he lacked sexual attraction, "whether he now regrets his choice of words". Indeed he did. But when he tried to explain again, he didn't do much better either...

For a very special kind of question and answer session, Sophia Thomalla used a well-known drinking game from the show: "I've never...". Anyone who has already done what was said must have a schnapps. It all started off quite innocently with everyone having to admit they'd peed in a pool before. But when she said "I've never tried to contact Sharon after the show," a surprise followed. After a short silence, Max asked how it would have been if it had been the other way around. Sophia Thomalla immediately probed Sharon, who rowed back at first, but ultimately had to drink a schnapps. "We have friends in common, very close ones. And of course they were very excited and wrote to me. Then I wrote to him: 'How blatant, the world is small.'"

Jan smiled in the situation and countered with "I think that's cheeky", but the viewers can only guess how he really felt. Because Sophia Thomalla's all-important question as to whether the two are still a couple, Jan and Sharon answered "yes" almost at the same time. They are very happy, reported Jan and Sharon. "It's just getting nicer in reality," Sharon said with a smile on her face. However, until the broadcast of the grand finale, the couple had to keep a low profile and could not yet show their love publicly. That's why they usually met in her apartment in Cologne or at his place in Hanover. Another game by Sophia Thomalla revealed that the young lovers had never said "I love you" before. The two want to take their time with it.

Sharon and Jan are now looking forward to everyday life together – away from the cameras. Sharon revealed to RTL that she could even imagine leaving her beloved Cologne for Jan at some point: "It doesn't make sense to move him to Cologne now because he has his job and loves his job. And I'm relatively self-employed , so I'll probably take the step and come to him at some point."
