Aaron Judge hits a fly ball high into the Florida sky, Hyun-Soo Kim loses it, results in a "triple". #Yankees #Orioles pic.twitter.com/7sfcMPgpp3-- Sung Min Kim (@sung_minkim) February 27, 2017
SARASOTA, Fla. -- From the Can't Make This Up files:
Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge tripled in the fourth inning of Monday's game against the Orioles at Ed Smith Field, and not because of his ridiculous strength.
Actually, it had almost nothing to do with him.
Sure, Judge hit the ball super high. But left fielder Hyun Soo Kim appeared to lose the ball in the sun, ran in way too far and braced himself in case it came down on his noggin.
Instead, the ball landed abut 50 feet behind him, near the warning track.
Check it out:
Aaron Judge hits a triple because Kim lost the ball in the sun. Might help to wear those shades, man. Just saying. pic.twitter.com/Drkp8XrSWK-- Tom Hanslin (@tomhanslin) February 27, 2017
