The Icelandic film 'Lamb', Best Film Festival Film Sitges

The Icelandic film Lamb has obtained the prize for the best film by the Fantastic Festival Festival of Sitges and its protagonist, Noomi Rapace, known for his role as Lisbeth Sagender in the Saga "Millennium", the award to the best actress, shared with Susanne Jensen by "Luzifer".

The jury has looked for salomonic solutions in a very disputed edition and has granted the Special Juro Award to "After Blue" and special mentions to The Blazing Wold, The Execution and The Innocents.

The Nitram filmmaker, Justin Kurzel, has risen with the Best Direction award and the protagonist actor of this film, Caleb Landry Jones, has shared the Best Actor Award with Franz Rogowski, Luzifer Interpreter.

The winning film, Lamb, is a feature film about maternity and mourning with mythical background, set on a farm isolated in the mountains of Iceland.
