Hockenheim (dpa / lsw) - On Monday near Hockenheim (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis) a semitrailer crashed almost unbraked into a car driving slowly in front of it. Two people were seriously injured - their car was pushed onto another car by the impact, the police said. The cars driving in front of the trailer truck on Autobahn 61 had already slowed down because of the end of a traffic jam - according to the information, it was still unclear why the truck drove up.
A little later, behind the accident site, there was a second rear-end collision involving three other vehicles. A car with a family was pushed onto another car and three children were slightly injured.
