Beneil Dariush won his seventh successive UFC battle on Saturday night with a unanimous decision over Tony Ferguson and rather than stating why he ought to find a title fight next he chose to call out one of the wealthiest men on the planet -- Elon Musk.
The 32-year-old lightweight fighter stated in his post-fight interview at the Octagon his wife purchased a Tesla but has not gotten it yet. He used the second to place Musk on burst.
"Elon, where is my wife's car, bro? I have been waiting a while," Dariush explained, through MMA Fighting. "I am having a baby, I would like a fantastic car, I have to protect my own daughter. Let us proceed, Elon. Get me my car"
According to the MMA website, Dariush told reporters from the post-fight press conference he purchased the car in December and has been told that the car would arrive in March.
Musk responded Sunday the automobile was on its way.
"Coming shortly. That the Tesla CEO tweeted.
Dariush has not lost a fight in UFC because March 2018, when he had been knocked out by Alexander Hernandez.
But, his conclusion triumph against Thiago Moises in November 2018 began a series of wins for Dariush. He had yet another choice win against Diego Ferreira and 2 entry victories -- from Frank Camacho and Drew Dober.
