A woman with false vaccination certificate dies by Covid in a hospital in France

A 57-year-old woman who had a false vaccination certificate died from Covid-19 in a hospital southwest of Paris, a medical authority of the clinic reported Friday.

The patient, no medical history, entered a Hauts-de-Seine hospital with the fake document bought a doctor, assuring that he had been vaccinated.

He suffered a serious form of the disease "that progressed rapidly towards a severe respiratory attack," said Djillali Annane, head of the resuscitation department, interviewed by RTL radio.

If the doctors had known that the patient was not vaccinated against the COVID-19, there could be "neutralizing antibodies, which are known to be effective in reducing the risk of progression of the disease," he added.

A certificate of false vaccination "does not protect against the virus and can mislead the doctor to attend you," he said.

He was the patient's husband who admitted that he was not vaccinated. He is, but he said he "had difficulties" to convince her to vaccinate, explained Dr. Annane.
