The Court of Auditors is in the target of independence. ERC has registered in Congress a total of 400 questions addressed to the Government for those who request a written response and with which it tries to corral the court to which, in an entry, accuses "lack of neutrality and arbitrariness" as well as exercising a " Repressive role against political dissent ".
The 400 questions have been grouped into 37 thematic blocks and with them it is intended to take the alleged deficiencies of the audit body in all areas and highlight the "obsessive" policy, in the opinion of Esquerra, against the Independentistas "while" It ignores scandalous cases of embezzlement "Among the Ercross citation, City of Justice of Madrid or the sale of 5000 floors to Vulture funds by the ex Mayor of Madrid, Ana Botel time to supervise the economic and financial activity of the king, from his home and the royal family, and even wonder why there is no control of the court's own accounts. In this sense, they are interested in the four million euros per year that are paid as productivity to the workers of the court; the 500 euros a day that are destined to diets or the 300 dedicated to locomotion; the more than 5,000 that are budgeted for pharmaceutical products and sanitary material; The increase of more than 1.3 million in leases and canons registered in the last budgets of the State or, for example, the 46,000 euros with which the departure dedicated to the purchase of press, magazines and books or the 19,600 for locker room. Likewise, Independentistas Republicans denounce a contracting policy that allows, they affirm, that 14% of the workers of the staff have a kinship relationship.
ERC clothes with this avalanche of questions, the complaint that leads against the High Supply Body of the State to which they openly accuse "violate the right to defense of independence". Thus ask the Government if it considers "respectful of the democratic guarantees of a fair procedure" the way of acting of the court that "imposes millionaire, absolutely disproportionate bonds", "extends accounting responsibility with retroactive effects" and "filters the files to the press ".
Among the questions, signed by the Deputy Monserrat Bassa, sister of the former condemned and subsequent counselor, Bassa Dolors, is further interopeled by the alleged "concern" that show "recognized European and international organizations" by the rule of law and Human rights in the Spanish State.
