Medina de Rioseco (Valladoldid) surrendered a tribute sense during this weekend to Rafael Peralta Pineda, rejoner and benefactor of the elder residence Sancti Spíritus and Santa Ana with the organization of Taurine Festivals for the benefit of the historic asylum house with his brother , the deceased angel peralta.

The acts began on Saturday afternoon officially. The Arena of the Coso del Carmen, which so many times stepped on the parties of San Juan of yesteryear, hosted the signature of the Book of Honor of the city. From there and in carriage, he left to travel some of the roses of the municipality until he arrived at the elderly residence, where moments of affection and memory were lived, especially when red carnations were deposited in the bust tribute to Ángel Peralta, located at The entrance of the Sancti Spíritus and Santa Ana.
Already, in the inner courtyard, and his son Rafael's arm, he discovered a plate formed by different tiles that serves as a perennial memory of his stays there every afternoon of Taurino Festival for fifty years.
This last Sunday, he was given the title in an institutional act held at the Main Theater María Luisa Ponte and in which he was accompanied by his wife, his four children and ten of his grandchildren. At the event, they joined, by videoconference such important testimonies as Álvaro Domecq or José Samuel Lupi and Toreros as Curro Romero, Manuel Benítez "El Cordobés", Ortega Cano, Juan Antonio Ruiz Spartaco, Roberto Domínguez, Miguel Báez Litri and the Destro Local Joge Manrique, as well as Cardinal Archbishop Monsignor Carlos Amigo Vallejo, among other outstanding personalities.
