Accident: 55-year-old driver collided with semitrailer: injured

A 55-year-old drove his car into the oncoming lane on federal highway 312 and was seriously injured in a collision with a truck. The man was flown to a clinic by helicopter on Wednesday, police said. It is still unclear why he got on the wrong lane in a long curve between Ahlen and Uttenweiler (Biberach district). The 43-year-old truck driver tried in vain to swerve to the right. He was slightly injured in the accident.
