The sail of a 60-year-old paraglider was blown away by a gust of wind which threw him into a ravine, in the town of Saint-Baudille-et-Pipet this Saturday evening.
The firefighters were alerted just before 7 p.m. and had to call the Group for recognition in perilous environments (Grimp38) to help them descend to the victim on the steep, very vegetated slope.
The operation lasted from 11:30 p.m. to the time that the sexagenarian, who was slightly injured, was taken by ambulance to the CHU Grenoble Alpes.
