According to information from "Le Monde" and AFP, Andre Santini (historic mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux) has been the subject of two complaints by two town hall employees regarding "sexual assault" as well as "sexual and moral harassment".

These two complaints were filed before the Nanterre Public Prosecutor's Office on Friday, July 1, and are "currently being studied", according to the Nanterre Public Prosecutor's Office to AFP.

According to "Le Monde", an ex-chief of staff and a former bailiff accuse the 81-year old elected official of sexual assault and harassment in particular 2021 and 2022.

Ex-MP and former Secretary of State for Civil Service, Andre Santini (1988-1917) is UDI Mayor of Issy–les-Moulineaux. This town, which has nearly 70,000 people, is located in south-west Paris. Since 1980. Since 1983, he has been vice-president for Greater Paris and head the Syndicat des eaux d’Ile-de France.

Marc Bellanger, Marc Bellanger's lawyer for the mayor, said that he has known Santini seventeen years and had never received any complaint against him regarding the behavior attributed. He did not specify the details of the charges. He believes it's a "campaign to revenge these agents vis-a -vis the mayor with whom there is an issue."

Andre Santini was also contacted by "Le Monde" and denied the allegations: "I naturally deny that I have had any behavior like the complaints." After forty years of loyal and good service, I have never been charged or accused of any such behavior.

According to "Le Monde", both complainants were fired by the mayor in May for breaking the trust necessary for their collaboration.
