Baby break over, Tour 2023: Helene Fischer celebrates a comeback at Silbereisen

Helene Fischer has her baby break behind her and is appearing live on television again – of all things with Florian Silbereisen, her long-time former partner. She chats with him about the upcoming tour and her taste in clothes.

Cell phone cameras pulled out, screaming fans and even their own countdown: After her baby break, pop singer Helene Fischer (37) appeared live again in front of an audience of millions on television – of all things on a show by her ex-boyfriend Florian Silbereisen (40). The moderator announced the singer on the Saturday evening show "Das Große Schlagercomeback" in the first with a countdown and the words: "I am and will remain her fan."

"It's so nice! Hello dears!" Fischer greeted his fans, who had expected them with banners like "Helene forever" or "Our phenomenon is back" in the glass hall of the Leipzig Trade Fair. "It's good energy, it is," she told the audience. She is definitely looking forward to the big stages again, she later told Silbereisen in the live broadcast. The preparations for their "biggest concert ever" on August 20th in Munich and their tour with a total of 70 shows next year are already underway.

The pop singer appeared on stage in a black one-piece suit and glittering earrings – but this is not necessarily her personal taste, she replied to Silbereisen when he asked a question from the audience. "Privately, I'm knitted very, very differently." She prefers to wear jeans and a t-shirt. "Then you're already nicely dressed, done."

According to Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), Fischer was last seen at a Silbereisen show in 2019. She was not the only guest who had a big appearance on television after a long break: ESC legend Nicole ("A little peace") also reported back on the TV stage after her cancer. "I'm just glad it's over and I can really look forward again," emphasized the 57-year-old, who presented her new song "I'm back". She's doing really well now. "It's good to see you all again," said Nicole, visibly touched. Some fans also had tears in their eyes.

In addition to singers such as Maite Kelly, Vicky Leandros, Ross Antony and Beatrice Egli, Jürgen Drews ("Ein Bett im Kornfeld") was also seen on the more than three-hour Eurovision broadcast by MDR, BR and ORF. The 77-year-old recently announced at a Silbereisen show that he would say goodbye to the stage at the end of the year. As a result, many lovely messages from his fans came, said his wife Ramona Drews. "The reactions were incredibly overwhelming. It was unbelievable and very touching." An unusual guest in a German hit show was the US singer and songwriter Anastacia ("I'm Outta Love"), who is also touring in Germany in October.
