Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - A contractor from Freiburg has evaded 365,000 euros over three years. Because the 48-year-old had repaid the money, the district court was merciful and only warned him, as a police spokeswoman said on Friday. He is said to have sold his own property for it.
The entrepreneur had not reported several employees correctly or not at all to the insurance company. In order to cover up the payments of the so-called undeclared workers, the man had issued bogus invoices. Should he again be conspicuous by the court, he has to pay a fine of 21,600 euros.
