Baden-Württemberg: 69-year-old does not believe police officers in traffic control

Hohenstadt (dpa / lsw) - A senior denied the authenticity of the police officers checking him during a traffic check. According to the police, the officers at the incident early Sunday morning were wearing their uniforms and were driving a patrol car with the blue lights on. However, the 69-year-old driver did not want to give his name or show his driver's license at the control in Hohenstadt (Göppingen district).

According to the police, during the subsequent search to determine his personal details, it was "necessary to put him on the ground". His passport and driver's license are said to have come to light. Administrative offense proceedings were initiated against the man because he did not provide his personal details and did not show his driver's license.
