Baden-Württemberg: accident: young motorcyclist critically injured

Ehningen (dpa / lsw) - A 16-year-old motorcyclist got into oncoming traffic in the Stuttgart region and was critically injured. On Wednesday afternoon, shortly after the village of Mauren, he left his lane in a right-hand bend for an unknown reason, the police said in the evening. He grazed an oncoming car there and then collided head-on with the pickup truck driving behind it. The 16-year-old was taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter. The driver of the pickup truck was also examined by a doctor. The county road around the scene of the accident was closed for around two and a half hours.
