Walddorfhäslach (dpa / lsw) - Four people were injured in a rear-end collision on the B464 near Walddorfhäslach (Reutlingen district) - three of them seriously. According to previous investigations, a 75-year-old driver overlooked a tractor driving in front of her on Saturday evening and drove her car onto it, the police said on Sunday. The tractor fell to the right on a meadow as a result of the impact and the 75-year-old crashed her car into an oncoming car of a 23-year-old on the oncoming lane.
Both drivers and a 16-year-old passenger were seriously injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance. Firefighters had previously freed the elderly driver from her car, in which she was trapped. To do this, they removed the roof of the vehicle. When the 30-year-old driver of the tractor tipped over in his vehicle onto the meadow, he was slightly injured.
