Dobel (dpa / lsw) - With the murder of a woman in Dobel in the northern Black Forest last July, according to the public prosecutor's office, a couple primarily wanted to cover up fraud in the company of their alleged victim. The 68-year-old was stabbed to death in her home. According to Wednesday, charges were brought against the couple – a then 38-year-old woman and her eight-year-old boyfriend – including joint murder.
However, there were "internal quarrels", said the public prosecutor's office in Tübingen after the investigations of the special commission "Loipe". Because she feared being caught, the woman and her boyfriend are said to have decided on the murder. While the native American entered the house and stabbed "with considerable use of force", the German "took on important organizational contributions to the crime," said the public prosecutor.
According to the prosecution, the man has already admitted to the allegations, the woman is silent. Both face life imprisonment if convicted. The regional court in Tübingen decides whether and when there will be a trial.
