Oberderdingen (dpa / lsw) - A toddler fell under a moving car in the Karlsruhe district and was slightly injured. A rescue helicopter took the one-year-old child to a hospital for further examination, the police said on Monday. The 47-year-old driver reportedly passed the road in Oberderdingen at walking speed on Saturday "and suddenly noticed a slight jerking". When she stopped and looked, she saw the screaming child who had crawled to the car. "Apparently the child was grazed by the front wheel," it said.
The police reported that there were supervisors in the immediate vicinity of the accident site. "Whether there is a violation of the duty of supervision requires further examination."
