Baden-Württemberg: Festhalle cleared at carnival: 37 injured

Kappel-Grafenhausen (dpa/lsw) - After the Rose Monday procession, the police had a festival hall in Kappel-Grafenhausen (Ortenaukreis) cleared because an unknown person allegedly sprayed pepper spray. At least 37 people suffered from a dry cough and red eyes, the police said on Tuesday. Several ambulances were involved in the incident. It was initially unclear how many people had had to leave the hall. The police are looking for witnesses.
