Baden-Württemberg: High damage in the case of a fire in the first state reception in Freiburg

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - According to initial estimates, damage in the six-digit range was caused by a fire in a state initial reception facility (LEA) for refugees in Freiburg. Part of the accommodation had to be cleared after the fire, the police said on Monday morning. 50 people were housed in other LEA buildings. One person was taken to hospital as a precaution with suspected smoke inhalation. According to the police, it was initially unclear how the fire started on Monday night.
