Baden-Württemberg: hydrogen series truck with road approval rented

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - A hydrogen truck from series production has found its first place of use in Baden-Württemberg. The Hyundai vehicle of the "XCIENT Fuel Cell" type went on Tuesday as a rental vehicle to an event company in the Stuttgart area. It comes from the rental fleet of the Cologne start-up Hylane, which was one of several companies to receive federally funded vehicles from Hyundai. The Korean manufacturer delivered a total of 27 vehicles to Germany in August. According to Hylane, the car handed over in Stuttgart was the first hydrogen series truck to be approved for road use in Germany.
