Eppelheim (dpa / lsw) - A 32-year-old man is suspected of having illegally filmed or photographed more than 20 women going to the toilet in his apartment in Eppelheim (Rhein-Neckar-Kreis). A 28-year-old filed a complaint back in December, the police said on Friday. She responded to the man's advertisement for a flat. During the visit to the man's apartment, she noticed that the toilet had been prepared with a hidden camera.
During a search of the apartment, footage of more than 20 women who had become victims of the man was also secured. Their names are not yet known to investigators. Despite the investigation, the man is said to have continued with his scam. So far, three other victims have reported and reported. However, another search of the apartment yielded no results.
The investigators already have the first indications that the man was also offering a room in a similar way in Heidelberg, the police said. The man is being investigated on suspicion of violating his most personal sphere of life and personal rights through image recordings. So far there has been no evidence of sexual assault.
