Meanwhile, the boy called for help, whereupon the father came over and alerted the police.
The officials arrested the suspect - a stateless asylum seeker. He was brought before the magistrate on Saturday and has been in custody ever since. The child was not physically injured, according to a police spokesman. The police did not give any information about his age.
