Wiesbaden/Stuttgart (dpa/lsw) - In the current school year, more children have been enrolled in Baden-Württemberg than in 2021. There are 103,500 abc shooters in the south-west, 2.7 percent more than in the previous year, according to the Federal Statistical Office in Wiesbaden Friday, citing preliminary results.
In Germany there are more first graders this school year than there have been in 17 years. According to the information, 810,700 children started school, 5.2 percent more than in the previous year. The strong increase can be attributed to demographic developments such as higher birth rates and increased immigration. Most recently, more children (822,300) were enrolled in school in the 2005/2006 school year.
