Baden-Württemberg: Police stop wheel loaders at 20 km/h on the Autobahn

Korntal-Münchingen (dpa/lsw) - The driver of a wheel loader was stopped and checked by the police on Autobahn 81 near Ludwigsburg on Saturday afternoon. The 22-year-old was previously traveling at 20 km/h on the hard shoulder in the direction of Heilbronn, which is why several road users had dialed the emergency call. The man stated to the police that he had relied on his navigation device and thus got onto the motorway. The driver is now facing a procedure for an administrative offense including a fine, as a police spokesman said on Sunday on request.
