In Bramsche near Osnabrück there was an act of violence during the night. At a birthday party in a rifle club, a 19-year-old was killed, the police and the Osnabrück public prosecutor announced. There was also a suspicion of a sexual offense. According to media reports, the young woman is said to have been raped before.
According to the police, the young woman was missing at a party in the Pente district around 1:00 a.m. and was found seriously injured in a meadow by other party guests at around 2:40 a.m. Rescue workers then tried to resuscitate the 19-year-old, and her death was later determined in the hospital.
Police and rescue workers came in large numbers. In total, the personal details of around 150 people were recorded. According to initial investigations, the suspicion is directed against a 20-year-old party guest. The person has been arrested and further investigations are ongoing.

An 81-year-old man shot the boy in front of an apartment building directly opposite an elementary school on Tuesday morning. The boy died of his injuries in a hospital on Wednesday evening.
