Mannheim (dpa / lsw) - In two districts of Mannheim, the power went out temporarily on Friday. According to the supplier MVV Energie, around 17,000 people live in the affected areas of Wallstadt and Neckarstadt-Ost. The spokesman could not say how many people were actually without power.
An initially unknown defect in a cable caused the power failure. After two hours, Wallstadt was completely supplied again, said the spokesman. The repair work took longer in Neckarstadt-Ost.
