Baden-Württemberg: Power outages in Tübingen: around 1,500 households affected

Tübingen (dpa / lsw) - Due to a defective cable, around 1,500 households in Tübingen were without electricity for a short time on New Year's Day. A spokesman for the Tübinger Stadtwerke said on Monday. The power fell in the evening in "large sections" in the city center and the southern part of the city, sometimes for a minute to a quarter of an hour. According to a statement, several employees of the technical service of the municipal utility were already on duty for several hours during the night. The defective cable should now be replaced. Work on this should start on Monday.
