Lörrach (dpa / lsw) - Several accidents occurred on the Autobahn 98 in the Lörrach district on slippery roads and heavy snowfall. According to the police, the rescue service had to take care of several injured people on Tuesday morning. It was initially unclear how serious the injuries were.
First, two cars skidded at the Eimeldingen junction and collided with the crash barrier, officials said. Nobody was injured in this accident. A short time later, a woman also hit the crash barrier with her car. She was in shock.
At Lörrach-Ost, a driver overturned her car. The vehicle stayed on its roof. The ambulance took care of the woman as a precaution. There was a rear-end collision near Lörrach-Mitte, and one of the participants also had to be cared for by the rescue service. The series of accidents resulted in traffic jams stretching for kilometers.
