Doha (dpa / lsw) - Bundesliga professional Borna Sosa from VfB Stuttgart does not mourn the missed change of association to the German Football Association. "My first choice was Croatia. Luckily things went in that direction. The best thing for me was to play for Croatia," the left-back, who is a regular at the World Cup runners-up in Qatar, told the French sports newspaper " L'Equipe".
Sosa, whose mother was born in Germany, took on German citizenship in spring 2021.
