Baden-Württemberg: Suspected "Reich citizen" arrested - not during raid

Hechingen (dpa / lsw) - A suspected Reich citizen from the Zollernalb district is under strong suspicion of having approved crimes and threatening several people with death. In addition, the previously convicted 45-year-old is accused of insult and attempted coercion, the Hechingen public prosecutor said on Wednesday. The Hechingen district court issued an arrest warrant against the man because of the risk of escape and blackout.

Specifically, the accused is said to have insulted and threatened employees of the Balingen tax office and police officers. He is also accused of repeatedly hanging the Russian flag with the "Z" symbol on his property in order to support Russia's illegal war against Ukraine.

However, the case has nothing to do with the nationwide raid against the Reich citizen scene on Wednesday, as the authority emphasized at the same time. The federal prosecutor arrested 25 suspects, eight of them in Baden-Württemberg.
