Baden-Württemberg: train traveler attacks federal police officers

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - An ICE passenger attacked a federal police officer at Stuttgart Central Station after he and a colleague had taken him off the train. The federal police said on Thursday that the 27-year-old had become abusive to the train staff. He then insulted the officials on the platform and tried to get back onto the ICE past one of the federal police officers. The man grabbed the officer's protective vest and wanted to push him aside. The forces brought the 27-year-old to the ground and tied him up. No one was injured in Wednesday's incident.
