Baden-Württemberg: Two people injured in the fire in Hockenheim

Hockenheim (dpa/lsw) - Two people were injured in a house fire in Hockenheim (Rhein-Neckar district) on Saturday. When exiting the building, a resident suffered smoke inhalation, police said. A firefighter was injured trying to put out the fire. According to the information, the fire in the middle terraced house was probably triggered by a technical defect in an electrical appliance. There was property damage of around 200,000 euros. Both the house and the two adjoining buildings are no longer habitable.
