Dresden (dpa / lby) - TSV 1860 Munich sent a big exclamation mark to the competition right at the start of the season in the 3rd football league. The “Lions” won a goal spectacle 4: 3 (2: 0) at Dynamo Dresden on Saturday and underpinned their promotion ambitions early on. In front of 24,046 spectators in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium, Dynamo Kevin Ehlers scored 1,860 goals with an own goal (8th), Tim Rieder (36th) and Marcel Bär (68th/71st). Ex-Nürnberger Dennis Borkowski (69th/82nd) and Manuel Schäffler (74th) scored for Dresden.
After the minute's silence for HSV legend Uwe Seeler, the Saxons dominated the first half. Returnee Stefan Kutschke (3rd/21st/26th) failed again and again at the strong 1860 keeper Marco Hiller. Instead, the hosts punished themselves for their usury of chances: After a cross from Munich captain Stefan Lex, Ehlers wanted to clear it and maneuvered the ball into his own goal. The "lions" were subsequently more efficient. Shortly before the break, Rieder rounded the Dynamo defense and pushed into the far corner.
After the change, the fans in the heated cauldron saw a lively exchange of blows with five goals within 15 minutes. Despite the now comfortable Munich leadership, an emotional final phase developed in which Giesinger had to tremble violently. The Saxons put everything in and pushed for an equalizer every minute. But the Munich defense no longer wobbled and saved the first win of the season over time.
