Munich (dpa / lby) - The Bavarian State Gymnastics Festival should be sustainable. The Bavarian Gymnastics Association has developed a concept for this. "As the second largest sports association in Bavaria, we act as a role model in Bavarian sport and are aware of our responsibility for the future of future generations. We must face the challenge of a sustainable event and take appropriate measures," said President Alfons Hölzl on Thursday.
The 33rd Bavarian State Gymnastics Festival will take place in Regensburg next year from April 28th to May 1st. Concrete measures are to be implemented there. Among other things, it is about taking the train to the competition, bringing your own drinking bottle and avoiding single-use packaging.
