Munich (dpa/lby) - The day after the results of the nuclear power plant stress test were published, the Bavarian Council of Ministers dealt with the topic of energy. At today's meeting, the cabinet wants to deal in particular with the energy crisis and its consequences.

Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) and Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger (Free Voters) want to then provide information on the results of the discussion.

Both had sharply criticized the federal government's decision to keep two of the remaining three nuclear power plants, Isar 2 in Lower Bavaria and Neckarwestheim in Baden-Württemberg, only as emergency reserves until April 2023.
