Bavaria: Child seriously injured in turning accident

Ingolstadt (dpa / lby) - A seven-year-old was seriously injured in a turning accident in Ingolstadt. As the police announced on Monday, an 81-year-old overlooked an oncoming motorcycle when turning left with her car on Sunday evening. In the collision, the child was thrown from the passenger seat of the motorcycle and landed on the windshield of another car. Paramedics took the boy to a hospital. The 38-year-old father who was driving the motorcycle suffered minor injuries. The suspect who caused the accident was uninjured.
