Munich (dpa / lby) - Customs officers at Munich Airport found two roasted antelopes in the suitcase of a traveler from Ghana. According to the woman, the animals would be considered a delicacy, the main customs office in Munich announced on Tuesday. Employees discovered the antelopes on Sunday during the X-ray inspection of the luggage. "We've experienced a lot, but that's something extraordinary," said a police spokesman.
Antelopes are not protected species. The import is still not possible due to animal health regulations, said the spokesman. The roasted antelopes were seized and disposed of.
