Bamberg/Karlsruhe (dpa/lby) - A woman has to serve a life sentence on her former son-in-law because of the deadly stabbings in the middle of a small town in Upper Franconia. The Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe rejected the woman's appeal against the Bamberg Regional Court's murder judgment in April, according to a September decision published on Wednesday. This makes the judgment final.
In July 2021 in Ebermannstadt (Forchheim district), the German waited for the 32-year-old at the front door of her daughter and his ex-wife when he wanted to pick up their child. According to the court, she stabbed him there with a knife, followed him to an intersection and stabbed him further. Numerous people had to watch the act in the middle of the place.
