Bavaria: Excursion weather ensures full parking spaces

Munich (dpa/lby) - Many people in Bavaria used the beautiful autumn weather at the weekend for excursions into nature or in beer gardens - and it should remain warm until Tuesday. There was a lively rush on Sunday in the mountain regions and in the Bavarian Forest, for example, where individual parking spaces were overcrowded. However, there were no major traffic delays on the freeways, as the police reported.

According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the temperatures should only go down again from Wednesday. But the new week starts again with lots of sun and mild temperatures. According to the DWD, up to 24 degrees are possible on Monday in the Alps. Values between 13 and 21 degrees are to be expected in the rest of Bavaria.

Because of the public holiday on Tuesday in Bavaria, the police are also expecting large crowds in the tourist regions at the beginning of the new week. On All Saints' Day, more clouds are expected to appear in Bavaria, and individual showers are possible locally. However, there is a lot of sunshine.
