Bavaria: Five injured in a collision between a van and a car

Landshut (dpa / lby) - In a collision between a van and a car in Lower Bavaria, five people were injured, three of them seriously. As the police announced on Saturday, the two vehicles collided around noon near the Landshut district of Buchenthal. The 41-year-old driver of the van disregarded the right of way for the car. A passenger of the 41-year-old was thrown out of the vehicle and seriously injured. The occupants of the car, including the 18-year-old driver, were also seriously injured. The other occupants of the van suffered only minor injuries. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
