Bavaria: Furnace filled incorrectly: Three injured and high damage

Penzberg (dpa / lby) - An incorrectly filled ethanol stove is believed to have triggered a fire in Penzberg (Weilheim-Schongau district). Three people were slightly injured. The police are now investigating a man for negligent arson and bodily harm, officials said on Friday. The man may have started the fire on Friday night because he filled the oven incorrectly. The apartment where the fire started burned out completely. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to other homes. Three residents were taken to the hospital with suspected smoke inhalation, and one man also injured his hand. There was damage of around 300,000 euros.
