Bavaria: Garbage workers trapped between the wall and the vehicle

Heending (dpa / lby) - A garbage worker was trapped in Lower Franconia when the garbage truck turned between a wall and the vehicle and was seriously injured. As the police announced on Thursday, the 57-year-old driver in Heendingen (Rhoen-Grabfeld district) swerved to turn and got stuck with the vehicle on a corner of the wall. His 56-year-old colleague was on the running board at the back of the vehicle when he got caught between the masonry and the vehicle. He fell to the ground and was taken to hospital by rescue workers with serious injuries. According to the police, there is no danger to life.
